Unlike shelves built up from joined boards, this mantel is shaped from a single solid block, which gives it a heavy, substantial presence. It arrives as one complete piece, ready to install. A gentle finish brings out texture, and natural wood varies in grain and tone from shelf to shelf.
Hang it above a rustic or modern fireplace, in an entryway, along a dining wall or in a cabin or cottage. Keep the shelf a safe distance above any open flame as local code requires, and dust with a dry cloth.

How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order. Cutting and carving take 7-10 days, you approve photos of your piece, finishing takes about 7 more days, and delivery adds 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
The shape, size and finish match your selection, but solid wood has natural variations in grain, knots and tone, so no two pieces are identical. You see photos of your own piece before it is finished.

Hand-painted glazed ceramic — dust with a soft dry cloth, never submerge. Fits any standard tealight; we recommend flame-free LED tealights. If you use a wax tealight, never leave it unattended, keep away from curtains and children, and let the piece cool before moving.
